Welcome to the official 2007 Combined Federal Campaign website for the Gateway CFC

Pledges for this year's campaign:
$3,260,000

Letter From Your Leadership Chair
March 2008

Dear Friends and Colleagues:

Congratulations!  Once again, federal employees throughout Greater St. Louis gave generously, and pledged more than $3,260,000.  Since the awards celebration designed to honor and thank all the great volunteers who helped make this year’s campaign a great success event was canceled due to weather, we hope you will take a few minutes to read the program

AVAILABLE AS A PDF HERE

The CFC volunteer and organizational awards will now be presented at the 8 May Gateway Region’s Excellence in Government Awards program.  Information on that event will be sent out soon by the Federal Executive Board, please e-mail stlfeb@gsa.gov if you want more information.

The CFC Celebration program has three key messages:

  1. acknowledgment of many volunteers who were essential to the success of this campaign (pages 6 - 11)
  2. results reported as total dollars, and which non-profit organizations federal donors selected to receive their contributions (pages 3 - 5)
  3. federal offices which will receive “Standard of Excellence,” “Honor” or “Merit” certificates. (pages 12 - 14)

Our theme this year was “Give from the Heart, Change Someone’s World.”  With the help of hundreds of volunteers, more than 11,400 federal employees in the Gateway region gave and will “Change the World” for the better.  The average gift was an impressive $285 per donor.  Thirty-four percent of federal employees in our region gave something to the CFC.  Many steps were necessary for us to get to this point, with numerous committees involving military, civilian and postal employees.  Each volunteer made an important contribution that added up to a big difference.

On behalf of 1,566 non-profit organizations which will benefit from this campaign, the Leadership Committee and I sincerely thank each of you for “Giving Time, Energy, and Dollars from Your Heart” to “Change Someone’s World.”

And much, much more! Check out the list of more than 2,300 charities!

I encourage you to think about the difference that giving to the CFC makes, and join me in making a contribution to reach our goal of $3,300,000. Every one makes a difference – and by giving, everyone can change someone's world. Your gifts are appreciated, thank you.
