CFC Disbursement Process
The vast majority of federal employee donations to non-profit organizations through the Gateway CFC are made through payroll deduction.  The Gateway CFC begins receiving payroll deductions in January of each year for pledges made during the preceding falls campaign.  For example, in January 2013, the Gateway CFC will begin receiving payroll deductions from pledges made during the fall  2012 campaign, which ended December 31, 2012.

The Gateway CFC notifies all non-profit organizations that received pledges of the estimated amount that they can expect to receive by a deadline established by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).  For the fall 2012 CFC, the deadline to notify non-profit organizations of the estimated amounts is March 15, 2013.
